1. Data controller

The database controller is Santiago Daniel Artigas, CUIT 20-44933519-9, owner of SYT IMPORTS, based in Saladillo, Buenos Aires province, Argentina. Contact: contacto@sytimports.com.

2. What data we collect

• Data you enter in the forms: name, company, email, phone, location, details of the product you want to import and any files you attach.
• Data you send us by WhatsApp or email.
• Minimal technical data for security and abuse prevention: the hosting service (Hostinger) logs the IP address of each visit.

This site does not store tracking files in your browser and does not use third-party advertising or analytics tools.

3. What we use it for

To answer your consultation, prepare and send quotes, manage the operations you hire, deliver the Supplier Guide and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Who we share it with

Only with providers needed to deliver the service: Hostinger (website hosting, form reception and email), Stripe (payment processing) and, when you move forward with an operation, the suppliers, carriers and customs brokers involved. Some of these services may store data outside Argentina.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purpose you provided it for and for the periods required by accounting, tax and customs regulations.

6. Your rights

You may access, rectify, update or request deletion of your data free of charge, under Argentine Law 25,326 on Personal Data Protection, by writing to contacto@sytimports.com. The right of access may be exercised free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless there is a legitimate interest (art. 14, sec. 3, Law 25,326).

The Agency for Access to Public Information, as the supervisory authority of Law 25,326, handles complaints filed by those affected in their rights by non-compliance with personal data protection rules.

7. Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), does not ask for or store passwords, and the forms have anti-spam filters. We apply reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. Cookies and browser storage

The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. The calculator may keep the official exchange rate in your browser's local storage for one hour to load faster; it never reaches us.
